Solar System

We are listing all for one price at the moment. If we don't have any interest, we'll split it up for very fair prices. All are used but in very good shape. We had this system in our Montana 5th Wheel, but it was overkill for such a small system. All this will work on a moderate home off-grid system. Nothing in this lot is cheap stuff. It is all high-quality components. The battery boxes will hold 6 6volt Golf Cart Batteries, 4 in one and 2 in the other. We used Trojan T105 I believe was the number. We used very heavy 4/0 welding wire for the batteries and had almost zero voltage loss. If you bought new, you would pay at least $3000 for all this. We need $1100 for all this. You can PM us here or email us at alwims at gmail dot com. More pics available.

Panels on the roof, batteries in the front compartment, controller and inverters in the basement, meters in the coach area. We are not selling the panels or the batteries. We sold the panels with the Montana and sold the batteries to a neighbor. We had 1000 watts of panels on the roof and 6, 6-volt batteries wired in series and parallel to form a 12-volt system. There are lots of places on the net to find wiring diagrams for solar. The only thing we couldn't run off grid was the air conditioners. we could run the microwave for short times, but it really taxed things so we never bothered with it on solar.

Might consider partial trade for a newer 7000watt or larger electric start generator. Might also consider trade for a Honda 3000 watt inverter generator.

Lots of interest, but no buyers so we are going to price everything separately. We have lowered the whole lot price to $1000, but if anything sells individually that price is void and we'll edit to reflect that.............................................. ..................
