That route works well. But be careful when you get to the intersection of I-10 and 60. If you go on 60 it is a very bad road and very narrow. Better to avoid it as I-10 can bypass this mess. Just best to stay off 60 between I-10 and 91 after that 60 going west is good.

I have camped at Eastern Shore RV Park many times. Very nice park. Gas is higher than other states. Traffic is always hit and miss. Enjoy your adventure and keep the rubber side down. Stay safe

Bought two new front tires today and checking off our list of items today, left the house at 7am and got back at 4:30pm. Few things left so hopefully we will be packed out tomorrow and clean up the house Friday.

California is a beautiful state and we have been there many times both Rv and non RV. Prices tend to be higher, traffic can be overwhelming.CA would not be our choice of domicile since we do have a choice.

There are some nice places here. Redwoods mountains and desert. Lots of things to do here but it's getting hard to afford to go to them. Diesel here is still in the HIGH $3 range. Crazy how much a home cost. Food isn't cheap ether. Not to mention the 55 MPH speed limit. Yep this place is nuts but beautiful just the same. I remember when California was a cool place and people used to be envious if you lived here now they think we are just nuts. And we are

I had a great time growing up there from 1965 to 95 when we left, would not consider it as a permanent residence again. Work yes residence no.

The OP's question was asked and answered. Please remember this is a RV forum and the Community Rules prohibit political comments and discussions. There are other forums available for that type of discussion. As the discussion has wandered off topic, it has been closed.
