After Market Towing Mirrors
Looking for some wisdom and reccomendations. I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD as my TV. I need to get some towing mirrors and would like to keep the features of my power, heated and foldable mirrors if at all possible. We are not full timing (yet). I've checked around and fully functional power towing mirror run about $300-600. Any suggestions on what to use that will function the same as OEM equipment or add onto my current mirrors?
Thanks!

You can get a pair of towing mirrors for your truck from any of your rv shops. My '04 Duramax has different mirrors than what was on my '03. Those are still sitting in the basement of the coach. These mirrors clamp right over the existing mirrors so you can take them off when not towing. Cost was around $65. I would try your rv shop first, if you go check any of your truck accessory shops I am sure they will have what you are looking for.

I don't know about mirrors for a Chevy, but for my f350 I got the convex mirrors from c-betr ( www.c-betr.com. They work great, are easy to install, have held up great in Florida salt air and are only about $40.00.

I put Power Vision mirrors on my truck and I'm vbery happy with them. Besides being able to move them in and out, they do not have the convex on the passenger side and the mirror head is much larger then the stock mirrors. They were easy to put on and use the stock wiring. You only had to add the switch for the in/out. I did add small convex on both sides. I got back most of the cost when I sold the stock mirrors.
