Paper Goods
Hello My wife Informed me last night that, she is not happy with our TP we currently use Scott. She says it won't hold up for her and not strong enough. I used to use Angel Soft until a few on here said they started to made it stronger and it wouldn't break down in the Tank. I would like some help Mommy not happy!!!

Scott 1000 single ply is the stuff to use. We don't like it much either, but in using it in boats and rvs for 20 years or so, never a clog or problem. At home, we made a switch to Angle Soft a few months ago from a Sam's Club brand of multi ply which worked great on the home front for years. Two weeks after the switch, a $150 plumbing bill to auger up the clean out and break up the wad of accumulated paper. This wasn't a tree root problem, it just did not break down very well.

Unfortunately that's what we've found to work best also. Get it here: http://www.amazon.com/Scott-Rapid-Di...v+toilet+paper
It does dissolve well so she could use and extra fold or two. Had a friend in KC who also had the same issue with more premium TP in their stick house. Nice on the bare skin but bad on the wallet

You might try Cottonelle Ultra Comfort Care. We have a septic system at home and that is what we use. That is what the DW and DD want, so I have little choice in the matter.
But I did try putting a couple of sheets in a glass of water and shaking it. It quickly disolved into a mess of small pieces. No large pieces left after less than a minute of shaking.

Angel Soft here unless we go to Aldi's and we pick up theirs. They have one that is an off name but it is packaged just about the same as Angel Soft. I did the shake test on both Angel Soft and the Aldi's brand and they both broke up fine. Have not had any problems with the Angel Soft and it all breaks up in the tank with no problems.

Scotts RV from Walmart for us. I think the stuff is great and dissolves good in holding tank. On our recent Alaska cruise I couldn't wait until we got to the first port so I could find some Scotts RV to buy and replace what the cruise ship had us using. Wait a minute.....maybe being full time in this Montana has actually changed me!

I think 1 ply tp gives you a good chance to get in touch with yourself

We use whatever is listed as " septic tank safe" No single ply and lots of water. We are normally at a full hookup so using water is not a issue. Never had a clog problem.

Actually, you rarely hear of a clog problem related to TP. Most of the time it's those miserable wipes that cause the problem. We were on our shakedown trip a couple of years ago and the DW's sister spent a couple of nights with us in Nevada, Got ready to leave, and found the black tank valve wouldn't close all the way. Took it to the dealer, thinking the valve was bad. $200 later, was shown photos of the culprit. As we have grandkids staying with us at times, I made a command decision to ban the wipes from the toilet area. Haven't had a problem since.

As Rich says, "septic safe" is a good guide to go by.

Walmart s. white cloud 3ply is both. Soft, tough and desoves very well according to consumer reports. I have found that true too.
