Slow Site

I have been getting a very slow reaction to topics on the MOC website opening up. Sometimes sits there forever to open. But yet, if I go to other sites my speed is normal. Anyone else having this problem?

I was beginning to think it was just my PC.
Seems better now.

I have had problems the last couple of weeks with it being slow at times, but not all the time. Right now it is at normal speed.

For what it's worth, It seems (to me) that the time of day makes a difference. If I try at about 7:30AM to about 8:00AM CST or CDT, it is as slow as a snail, other times, no problem. Also, this has been that way for a few years. Go figure.

It may be that the Board needs some attention. Administrator will look into it. In the meantime just keep trying. We should know first of next week (today being Saturday the 6th).

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The slowness I've experienced is usually a database related issue. Looks like it's working ok now.

Well,,, we are in Apache Junction and before that Gila Bend. Noticed the occasional slowness for about one month. Today...much slower!

Hope the fix is in the works!

Enjoy this forum!

The site has been slow, off and on, for the last two weeks. Some topics just don't open.

For the Administrator... I have noticed the site working slower recently and sometimes when I click "Next Page" I get an error message but after that if I click the next page on the pull down menu it works fine. I hope this helps identify problems or helps with troubleshooting.

And I'm one of those who is on the forum every day and I haven't noticed any slow down. Isn't that interesting?

Yes, we notice the slowness. Sometimes we give up and try later. Like Walt and Lynne "next page" sometimes doesn't work, but pull down menu does. Sometimes if we shift to another topic it works. Probably just because this site is TOO popular and gets a lot of traffic!

The last two days it has been extremely slow, but only certain sites. Some sites click right through and on others it runs and runs and runs...until I give up and try something else.
