Diebold Hydraulic System

I have a 2002 3295RK and have been told that my hydraulic motor needs to be replaced. Keystone doesn't use that product anymore (I think they are out of business) and my dealer claims to be having difficulty finding a replacement. I find it hard to believe that a 3-slide hydraulic motor isn't available out there.

You might have some luck yourself if you had the motor number

I have a 2005 3295rk so I went to look at what is in mine and it is a Lippert. Going onto the Lippert site they have a complete pump and reservoir assembly part # 643150 sku # 045-141111 for the amazingly low price of......$1228.15, or just the hydraulic pump motor w/gasket sku# 45-167576 for $697.81... ridiculous. I'm sure you can fine it on the internet aftermarket cheaper. I can't imagine that you have to stick with the Debold brand to operate the slides but I could be wrong. I know that the Lippert brand is pricey but you may be better off replacing the whole thing, meaning the whole assembly, pump reservoir and solenoids.

These things are not cheap no matter where you source them. I researched ours when we had the slide problem in case we needed one and thought they were way overpriced. The thing is that if you need one, you have to pay the piper. Lippert is, of course, the most $$$.
Good luck!

I had a 2000 2850RK ... had a hyd pump assembly with a built-in manual pump with removable pump arm ... sadly those are long one as far as availability as you didn't have to have an electric drill motor to use in case of motor failure you simply hand pumped the unit. Here's a link to a pump assembly that will work for you and at a more acceptable price. You'll just have to adapt your hyd lines/manifold to this pump assy. http://www.factoryrvsurplus.com/prod...roduct_id=2176. No ... I'm not affiliated with this outfit.

This is a very interesting website dieselguy, will bookmark it for sure. I am afraid I would not have a great deal of faith in most RV dealers/service centers to make many determinations they make.
There is not much to a hydraulic pump, the motors can usually be rebuilt, and the hydraulic pump has minimal moving parts and sometimes nothing more than O ring or seal replacement is needed. The complete unit however is a decent price for sure from this supplier.

Guess I am really jaded but I, as they say am from Missouri, show me the beef.

Irlpguy ... like you mentioned, not much to one of our hydraulic pumps. Unless it injested a bunch of debris (which is not likely with our systems), about all that probably goes wrong with the pump itself is an oring, shaft seal, or maybe the relief cartrige gets a piece of grit in it. All an easy repair, but today's repair mentality is throw new parts from China at it till it fixes it.
Thinking further ... it could just be the trombetta reversing solenoid on top of the electric motor itself is bad ... who knows what's the case.
