Yet another thing to check
While washing the Monty this afternoon I noticed one of the screws holding the wheel fairing on the driver side sticking out about 1/4 inch. I tightened it down, and checked the rest. Every one on that side took between 3/4 and 2 full turns. On the curb side, they each took about 1/8 turn.
I can picture the front screw coming loose and the wind catching the fairing at 60 mph and peeling it back!
Just one more item to check periodically.

We had the same problem on the SOB we had prior to getting our Montana...other than a missing screw discovered at delivery, have not had an issue with those screws being loose on current rig.

I replaced all those screws with very small bolts that require nuts.

We have a 2010 2955 and I found a couple of backed off fender skirt screws on the first trip. Pulled them all and applied loctite, problem solved (I hope!).

I had several back out so I coated the threads with silicone and stuck a little in the hole. Since I reseated the screws in this manner, none have come loose. Maybe it will work for you.

I had a couple of those little buggers come out completely because the hole in the aluminum had stripped out, and would not hold them. I picked up a few screws from the dealer and screwed them into a 1 1/2 by 1 1/2 inch peice of half inch thick, treated wood placed behind the aluminum. Problem solved.

I've had the screws back out as well on my 2006 344RT, but have put small pieces of wood behind each screw. The other problem I had was with one of the fenders didn't have a "mid-brace" for it in between the wheels. This led to horrendous vibrations that almost caused total failure and rip-off of the fender. Lowe's for some 1/8"t x 1"w x 12"l to fabricate my own brace strip. The other side had one so I don't understand why this side didn't (no mounting holes drilled in fender piece either), so the strip I fabricated works fine! John in Wichita

I've replaced all those screws with #8 ss sheet metal screws. That thin sheet metal just won't take much tightening. Speed nuts are available at most auto parts stores, and work great for this problem.

Replaced those long ago after having a few fall out.
