Check them boxes!!!

Doing a little P.M. on the moving Casa, you might put this on your list.

This is the entertainment slide:

I cleaned up the connections, but the stranded wire wicks up the moisture and corrosion, makes that part of it difficult. You can't strip back on the wire enough to get clean copper. BUT, it's better now than it was. (One wire: SO cord, stranded, the other wire in the connection box is solid copper that mates up to it.)

Also, check your breakers, if they are loose, get new ones. You can put your index finger on a breaker and wiggle it back and forth: Loose. Mine are Square D, and 2007 year.

I was trying to forget to go looking for any of these on my unit. Maybe my memory will prevent me from getting around to it till something dies...but now it's stuck in my head. Great picture ozz. John

I know John, it's always something we should be doing.. I just remembered to change my manual reset breaker to the auto reset that is sitting on the floor by the door (For the slides)
Oh, and I need to check the battery water... and change all my breakers I haven't changed. Yikes! I'm depressing myself...

Yup this isn't the totally carefree lifestyle we all make it out to be. Thanks for the reminder Jim.

We would be bored to tears if we didn't have these things to challenge the grey cells

Ozz at least you had a j-box to contain your connections. My 2012 has no j boxes at the slides just butt splice tucked in the skirting. They pulled apart last year do to the heavy snow and ice on last year's trip home pulled them all apart and reconnected with new butt splice, die-electric grease and shrink tubing. Hopefully I have the places memorized so if it happens again I can go right to the locations. All is well in Apache Junction no pontoons needed at this time.

Bummer, guess it can always be worse can't it?
Glad you did the old 'work around'
Down here in Benson it is windy and cool.
Where the heck is the warm weather we came for...
Leaving here for Tucson Monday morn, need the big city for a while
