Thousand Trails/Encore Resorts

The TT website is pretty clear about what you get with a membership but the benefits of the Encore Resorts say only that you get a discount. Does anyone know some of the discounts and/or other rules when a TT member using an Encore campground?

The TTN memberships are all different. With some you get 20% off Encore campgrounds and then only some. You still have to pay $3/ day resort fee. With my membership I can stay in any Encore park for $20/ day +$3. Many times you can do better with Carefree and do not need a membership.
You really have to watch which membership you get and if it ain't in writing it ain't so.
I upgraded a few years back as I had been a satisfied member since 1989 then they started filling the parks with seasonal and non members in the high use times.
You need to call Member Services and they will tell you what your contract says on this. They have over 60 different contracts.

20 percent off daily, 10 percent off monthly rate. Plus they run specials most of the time which are quite good - for two weeks at a time in same campground.

I have a friend who has one of the original ones that he claims has more privileges than the new ones. Does anyone know something about these older memberships and what they might be worth?
