Just finished putting in 32" Olevia LCD HD Tv in the Monty. Had to trim out the opening on all four sides. Used 18" 100 lb. drawer slides from Home Depot and screwed them to the bottom of the cabinet opening. Then bolted a piece of 1/2" plywood to the slides. Getting the angles right was a challenge. Made "L" brackets for the back of the Tv to secure it from any movement. I put a half barrel bolt, the kind used on French Doors, behind the spacer below the tv opening and drilled into the plywood slide to secure it when traveling.
Used the space behind the Tv for DVD & tape storage on two shelves and put in a battery light.
I could not get a real good match on the stain for the front trim so I painted it black to match the Tv.
Took a while to get it presentable when all you have is basic hand tools. Good thing folks, Mamma is happy!
