Enjoyed a relaxing day

Hunting Pheasants. Limited out by early afternoon. Packing up just as the rain started. Just got out of it (rain) in time.
Great hunt!
I'm extremely tired but what a day.
Hope your day was as enjoyable as mine,
Chuck

Chuck, the last time I hunted Pheasant was in 1970. It is one game bird I enjoy hunting. Hope you bagged a couple and had fun doing it.

Cheers!

Driving through Illinois recently, we wondered if anyone still hunted for pheasants. Years ago on my uncle's farm, he hosted hunts for guys from the urban areas of Chicago. We kids would play while waiting for the men to return with bags of birds and hope that they would share some of the long, beautiful feathers with us. Never cared for taking a bite into a leg and hitting some shotgun pellets though. Thanks for the memories.
