This just sucks

So this is my birthday weekend and the rains of Tropical Storm Erin has forced us out of our home as the local creeks start to flow over their banks. So we have an advantage - our Montana - and decide to go to the local KOA instead of the civic center for shelter. We're thinking all is good since our Montana is a second home to us, same bedding, same dishes, etc. but now, the creek that never sees water near the KOA is taking water overflow from the mains and now we've been evacuated from the KOA!!!

I did not unhook the truck thinking I'd be home today. The fire department gave so little time to get out I really feel for those at the KOA that had their lights, awnings, furniture out for an extended stay.

We're true vagabonds today, there are a few parks north of us that will take us. Glad we have a shelter on wheels!!

Stay high and dry Steve and Brenda. Hopefully the water will go down soon so you can get back home again.

Glad you were able to get out of harms way in such luxury.
Hope everything at home will be undamaged when you return.
Having your birthday in the Montana just might be kinda fun!
Be safe out there.
