Tire Pressure guages?

Hi guys, I took delivery on my first dually today. Everything is really nice on it (its new) but I find I have one little problem. All I have for pressure guages are the pencil type with the little white slide. There is no way on Gods green earth I can reach and read the pressure on the rear tires with them. What type do you all use and where can I find them? Hoping to hear from you all real soon.

Here's what I carry. It reads up to 120# ... you can get them about anywhere, auto parts stores, Orschlens, Attwoods, Tractor Supply.

I went to Les Schwab and had them install extensions for about 20 dollars total. These extensions (I'm sure someone more literate than me will be able to describe them better), attach to the valve stem, then with a flexible rubber hose about 5 inches long, reroutes to the the outer rear wheel and attaches to the rim with a metal clamp and at the end is another valve stem. This way, both wheels' air pressure can be checked, easily.

I use a good truck pressure gauge that costs in the neighborhood of $25 rather than the little cheap "give away" gauges. I never use a digital gauge because they aren't reliable. The battery weakens but will still read pressures though they may not be accurate.

We also have valve extensions which makes it easy to check and inflate the duals- Also have a quality tester ( not digital )- WELCOME to the forum- Don

On my 05 Ford F-350 dually both the stems were lined up with one another and it was impossible to get in there. I took off the outside dually and rotated the wheel 90 degrees. It makes ir a bit easier.

Thanks everybody. I stopped by Tractor Supply and found a 12" double foot guage (20#-120#) for $12 and change. As always, your advice helped out. Rich, your hint is a good one. Since the wheels are balanced seperately (duh!) it wouldn't make any difference how you placed it on the lugs.
