Thanks Old Guard, next summer I hope to take my Grandson to Wash D.C. to see the Wall and I want to surprise him by taking him to see the Tomb and the Guards.

Old GI also check out web site prior to getting there for the times of the Twilight Tattoo when you go...

Great vid Oldguard. Here is a link for those that do not know the strength required of the "Old Guard" soldiers of the 3RD United States Infantry. Thanks, from one vet to another.

Gary can’t take credit for that much strength those that walked the “Tomb”, and those that do so today are the greatest at what they do. Yes I was part of the “Old Guard” but with the Presidential Salute Battery.
We all thank you for support from one vet to another.http://www.army.mil/oldguard/SpecialtyPlatoons/guns.htm

I lived in Alexandria Va for 15 years and was at the Wall many time almost every week. I always found the best time to visit was between 3:00 am to 5:00 am. Very quite and brings back memories.

As H. John Kohl said be sure and see the Marine Corp twilight service.

And for sure the Tomb of the Unkown.

Thank you all for your service to our Country...
