Diesel Discount, Az.!

After spending 3+ months in Az., I stopped at the Chevron at the Verde Valley/Cottonwood exit off I-15. While fueling the lady attendent asked me if I knew that I got an $.08 discount.

It seems that some stations post the price for commercial vechiles, 26k gross, and will give you the discount if you ask.

So look at the posted fuel tax sticker and if it is high, ASK!

dersequim, you are right about the discount in AZ. If you are seeing prices around $@2.20 ask for the discount. Most places that list the lower prices have already included the discount. You can find this most noticeably when you go to a Flying J station. They usually list the higher price and also list a "Car Diesel" price and it is always $.08/gallon less.
