check roof vent seals

I have been in rain for three days. Sometimes heavy. The bathroom vent dumping water. I have the vent cover on that vent so it is not easy to insect the caulking. Obviously tomorrow when the rain lets up I will be removing the cover and redoing the caulk.

Bad news John!! You are on the Oregon coast and the rain won't be letting up until sometime in July.

You think the rain is going to let up? Yeah right! Don't you realize where you are? Just come on over in the morning and you can hold my umbrella while I fix the leak. Oh and our NW Monties come with rubber plug bathtub drains in each room!

I put EternaBond tape on ours and so far so good.

Just checked my roof openings for the summer last month. Almost always find something to caulk.
