TT2, I think BB_TX's web link included all those you mention. I grew up on those 60's westerns and they got me into the classics.
But here's one for you that has plagued me for decades: What is Paladin's first name? I thought it was "Wire" because it's on his business card, but someone told me that "wire" referred to "telegraph" in how folks got in touch with him. Wasn't he a Gun-For-Hire? So if it's not Wire, does anyone know?

According to IMDB.com his name was never revealed.
"Paladin (real name, unknown) is an adventurer who lives in the Hotel Carlton in San Francisco in the late 19th Century. "

My friend and I realize it was never revealed on the show, but we were banking during planning or in a list of little known facts or production notes somewhere that Paladin had a first name. We were under the impression unless you were a Native American, a first name was needed and I think with that bristle brush for a mustache he wasn't Native American, okay, Indian. Even Houdini had a first name. I'm still hoping.

Branded was a great series and I see they sell the seasons series still. One other show I really liked while growing up was "The Guns of Will Sonnett" with Walter Brennan and Dack Rambo. This they also sell the 1st and 2nd season series and I don't believe there was a 3rd season.

"and I'm better than either one of them -- no brag, just fact." I just loved that line.

Love the Westerns. Have gun, will travel, The Lone Ranger, The Big Valley etc. Loved the Duke in The Cowboys, but Clint Eastwood in The Outlaw Josey Wales is tough to beat.

Harold-- you're showing your age! The old radio shows were also great but Boston Blacky wasn't exactly a Shoot'm Bang, Bang Western!! LOL

Great! Thanks for the memories! My favorite movie is High Noon, but my wife thinks I'm nuts.

Growing up as a kid and having my Grandmother living with us, it was always Gunsmoke because she always got to watch what she wanted. So after awhile it just kind of got to be OK, and still now and then I will reminisce about the good old days.
