I don't buy from Tirerack.com, but I do use their website to compare tires and get owners reviews before buyiing.

I have used the Michelin LTX in the LT265/75/16E with very good results on my Duramax.

I am currently using the Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar LT265/75/16E, in the pro series, dealer stated extra something or another ( I believe sidewall) and made more specifically for those that haul. They are stiff, but ride and track well, and had excellent setups for wet, dry, and snow. Priced about 200 per tire, but I caught them on sale for about 168 almost 20 months ago.

But I'm not selling tires. Your choice for what works best. But I do compare on Tirerack before I set on my purchase.

Thanks Devildog, I use the internet for research, too. Tirerack.com and other common ones do too. Even major tire distributors are good comparators, but I have found that they don't always list all your inventory.

That size of tire can't help me because I cannot use a 16" wheel on my truck. I recently learned about the new Goodyears that use Kevlar, but for the weight rating I need I will have to change to an 18" wheel.
