Can anyone tell me where the converter is on my 2955 - figured behind the breaker panels next to fridge, but nope. There is a blank panel with one of the detectors mounted on it under the stove (other side of fridge), but couldn't see just how to take if off. Thanks. javascript:insertsmilie('')

In our '04 2955, it is located behind the breaker panels under the pantry. The only good way of seeing it is to remove the return air grille below the refrigerator.

In your 05 I removed the bottom of the pantry shelf under the waste can to get to the converter. There were some rearranging in the 06 heater and water heater models. I moved it to the basement area for better air circulation and it is much quieter there!

Thanks much for the help. It did turn out to be accessible behind the panel in the basement as dyna_rider suggested. Probably an easier place to work with it and the water pump right next to it. DAve
