Hydraulic landing gear

We have a 2000 Montana 5th wheel. It has electric front legs. My friend has a newer model of another brand. His has hydraulic front legs. It moves up and down at an amazing rate of speed compared to my slow and sluggish electric jacks. My Montana has 2 hydraulically powered slideouts, so we are equipped with a 12 volt hydraulic pump and reservoir. My question is, does anyone know if Montana makes a retrofit kit to replace electric landing gear with hydraulic? Alan and Kathy Zimmerman

Others wil chime in about their "level up systems" as for your fiver, I don't know of any retrofits in kit form to convert you over to hydraulics using your existing pump/reservoir. I will warn you ... if there is one in existance, it will be very pricey! I'll also add that the hydraulic power unit you have in your 2000 (if still original) is obsolete. Aside from an RV salvage find ... If anything goes wrong with it other than say an oring ... you'll be purchasing an entire new unit. My first Montana was a 2000 2850RK ... I know.

We had the Level Up system put on at a cost of $3,600. We love it but ours is a 2009. For a much older unit one would have to weigh the benefits over the cost...
