Hitch

Is there anyone out there that has a 38' 5th wheel using a 18,000# B&W hitch?

Yep, we have the B&W with the Companion hitch and love it! BUT, I have a long bed dually so no clearance issues, with your SHORTER bed mega cab you WILL have issues in tight turns and a bent up cab corner. Please dont try and use the gooseneck adapter either cause your rig is way too big for that. Slider hitch for you, listen to the others and spend money only once and have peace of mind as you travel down the road. Way to nice a truck to not spend the $$$ on the RIGHT setup. We all have done the do it twice or more to get it right, just dont do it with this issue. Happy hitch hunting

Wendy,

I know hitch shopping is stressful and you want to get the right hitch for your truck and not waste money. Just try this and it will show you that you need a sliding hitch for the truck. Measure the distance from the king pin to the outside of your trailer. Then measure from where the ball in your bed is to the cab of the truck. The numbers will not lie. You will hit. That is a really nice truck and I would hate to see you go threw that. If you have any further questions please ask.
