Tire suggestions

I just ordered a 2955RL so I need to change the shoes on my 04 dodge 3500 DRW 4x4 so I can give her a safe ride. I was going to go back with the stock Generals which I have 55K miles on but has anyone experienced on that has given excellent service and experience a little boost in mpg. Thanks in advance.

When you talk about what are the best tires, then you will get 49 answers from 50 different people. Some people like Chevrolet and others like Dodge.... This coming Friday, I will get 6 new Big O tires put on mine. I have looked at Michelin, Goodyear, Firestone, etc., etc., etc. I go with Big O because of their excellent warranties and because the last set I bought from them gave me 60,000 miles of service although they were rated for 40,000 miles.

I just wore out a set of Michelin LTX M&S on our truck after 60,000 miles. I got them at Costco and was so pleased with them I just put on another set. We do a lot of shopping there so it is convenient when it comes time to have them rotated and balanced.
