Bike rack

I'm having trouble finding a rear bike rack for my 2018, 3791rd. I have the pull out basement and cannot find a rack that provides a way to gain access to the basement without taking bike rack off. Suggestions Please..

Here is one that folds down for access to your storage.

Sometimes we like to carry our bikes on the back of our tow vehicle but it makes unhitching from the 5th wheel a bit of a pain. This rack would solve that!

We currently have a very similar rack that we bought at Camping World but it does not have that all important tilt feature! These types of racks are however very easy to use and secure.

To the OP: Didn't your trailer come with the drop-down rear luggage rack? It had a fold-up post you can adapt for bicycles.

I put this on our hitch: https://www.amazon.com/BV-2-Bike-Bic...ck+hitch+mount

This bike rack folds up and will tilt 90 degrees. It will fit a 1.25" or 2" hitch. Purchased on Amazon for $150.00. If you wish, I will take and attach a photo tomorrow.

Best Regards.

Allow me to answer for the OP since they have not been back by. The Montanas don't have this feature like the High Countrys do. At least our 2018.5 3791RD doesn't and I haven't seen it on any others. I personally think I would like it but it really wouldn't solve the OPs situation with the slide out tray.

The 2018 3791RD comes with a 2" receiver hitch. The swing down luggage rack is an additional item. If you add a bike rack hitch to this unit, a swing down feature with the rack folded up will allow the storage tray to be pulled out. The attached photo shows the rack 19.5" from the unit and 2" above the bottom of the 5th wheel, which on the 3791RD is about where the bottom of the rear access door is.

Best Regards.

Our 2016 3000RE Legacy Edition did not come with a 2" Receiver and at the time that was a deal breaker for us so the Dealer welded one up. Not the best picture of it here but the Thule Hitch does in fact tilt as well. Works great and I have a tether cord on the Ladder just to prevent any bouncing
Send me a PM if you would like for me to send additional pictures
