You might be thinking about the discussion on changing out the SHACKLES. I believe if adding a MorRyde suspension it includes the improved shackles. The shackles are heavier duty and include grease fitting to minimize friction and prevent wear over time. We are noticing that newer rigs are including these out the factory (yay).
The point is to know and understand that the trailer suspension should be checked periodically due to the stresses and weight it carries. Fasteners to be checked include the wheel nuts, u-bolt nuts, shock absorber fasteners and the nuts and bolts of whatever suspension we have. It's just that we find that the U-bolts are looser than any of us would expect. The wheel nuts should be checked at every trip especially if the wheels had been removed. All other nuts when checked are usually in pretty good shape.
Like Tom, I noticed your signature, too. How long have you had the Banks Brake system and what can you report about it, good and bad?
