CA=154 bypass north of Santa Barbara Ca.

We are going down 101 to get to the desert from Pismo Beach and Mapquest shows cutting over CA 154 instead of staying on 101 just north of S.B. In past years I have always stayed on 101 but I am curious if anyone has experienced towing thier rig over 154? Thanx Dave.

We've taken the 154 a couple of times. But we've never taken the trip with the trailer. I do not remember any thing that would cause any problem with going that route. If you've got the itch to go that way then go for it.
