bathroom faucet issues

Yes, I know the old saying "never do today what you can put off for tomorrow" and have told the wife that I would get around to fixing our strange faucet. Since new...if you didn't wiggle the handle sideways when closing, it would leak. Sometimes it would leak out from under the handle on top. Most times temperature control was hotter than what you figured it should be for the position of the handle. Sooo after a year and half, I got the invite to fix it now. Taking the handle off (with water turned off) revealed that the hot water rubber seat was marred and taking the old seats/springs to my local ACE hardware, it turns out that my faucet, at least, uses Delta 70 parts. Other than the trip to Ace, it was a 5 minute job to fix what I had been putting off. Gee, now if I can get used to how easy the faucet works now, I will have it made. John

It's the thing about retirement. Every morning I get up with nothing to do and on a good day only get half of that done.

But with no days off for vacations, weekends, and holidays, how do we ever get any thing done.

All good comments on the retired life. But now I have been mulling over a copper manifold with shutoff valves for all services like you see on the Redwood and the Suites. This would fit nicely in the passthru on the curb side of the 3800 with the left side of the divider panel removed. Then I think to myself that this is surely the sign of a sick mind and I just need to wait for something to break then fix it immediately. 92F and 48% humidity on the Peace River in the campground outside of Port Charlotte Florida today. Staying put in our spot for the rest of the year instead of traveling West as we had planned. So far not too bad. John
