We have a '06 2980 and the screw at the top of our TV goes through the side wall first and then in to the TV, 3/4 of the way to the top of it. The screw has a little plastic cap on it to match the wall paneling. We also have 2 screws going up in to the feet of the TV from the bottom. Hope this helps

Kegger,
Just drill a hole next to the existing one and install a new screw, it's a long one.
The screw head is under the button between the doors.

Kegger,
I was wrong, after thinking about it, what the screw with the cap on it does, is hold the center small speaker in, after removing that screw, there is another screw under that speaker. Drill a pilot hole next to that screw, and install a long screw there.
Hope that's clear, if not get back to me. John is correct as the 3400RL has the Two additional screws in the bottom of the Tv, you have to remove the fireplace to access them.

Be very CAREFUL when you are changing the placement of the long screws. DON'T ASK. I have installed a strap like what is holding the chairs down across the front of the TV for traveling. I removed the TV and installed the strap behind the side boards so as to look decent. Ozz likes to change things wait till you see the cheesy thin board or paneling holding the TV in. I need to remove the TV and install a better piece of plywood. I do not have the fireplace but a big storage place under the TV.

Obviously a place where Keystone could improve. TV install was a problem on both our 3295 RK and the Cambridge. I plan to spend some time on a real fix as soon as I have some time. Seems to mee an intermediate pice of wood cecurely fastened to the TV would provice a good anchor for the cabinet screws.

We stopped after traveling for the night and lo and behold our TV was leaning out on top with the screw broken off. I stuffed towels around it to make it tight, so we could travel the next day. Now it is stored until next January, but need to figure out what to do to secure the TV better. If it had fallen out, it probably would have broken the TV. Seems like there must be a better way to secure the TV for traveling.

On our 3295RK the top screw that holds the tv in broke and I replaced it and it broke again, so this time I put (3) screws in it and so far it is holding. Whoever engineered that should go back to engineering school.
