Time to say Hello!

We are new owners of our first 5th. A 2018 Montana 3811MS and a new Ford Platinum F350SD SW 6'9" bed. Came from a Forest River Windjammer and a GMC 2500HD Denali for the last 5 years. Spent several months online and hitting the RV shows and finally made the move to the Montana.

We will be hitting the road in 3 weeks headed into Montana and Wyoming with friends. Hope to see you on the road!

Indeed, welcome to the forum, from us "western Oregon" folks. We have a 2017 3810, which is just like yours, without the residential refer. We love it. Have already made a few changes and mods, so if interested in what we did, just ask.

Thanks to All.

I will certainly be using the forum to tap the knowledge base. Definitely learned the benefit of an Owners Forum over at Forest River. Have already searched for threads that have helped with questions here.

Already searching for the hidden ice maker valve. Know about the water line valve under the sink but no additional valve in the pantry. Followed the refrig water line to under the oven but can't see a valve yet. Haven't had time to pull the drawer out to get back there. On my list.

You will probably find it behind the drawer. I just looked at the install on a keystone sprinter for some friends. Keystone put it behind the fridge and had very little slack in the water line to help with pulling the fridge. Why keystone likes to install them in strange places is questionable practice. They also installed a fridge drain line in the very middle of the coroplast, so one had to crawl under the unit to drain the line.
