Entry door sticking

2017 3790rd,. Entry door is expanding when sunshine warms up door and making difficult to open or close the door. Dealer looked at it last summer and recommend replacing the door but keystone would not approve it. Trailer goes back to dealer next week for door and other issues.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have a bad creaking on my new 3121rl, I have hit it with silicone all the hinges but still didnt help, goes in soon for warranty work at dealer, so I have contact Keystone and they have a record of all our issues so they can work with dealer to correct them all. I have been very patient but told them they need to replace as it makes a loud creaking and neighbors have complained about the noise, we will see what happens

Same Problem on my 2017 3811MS, Hit the hinges with Garage Door Lube from Lowes and the door never had the sticking again. With the hinges dry it does not let the hinge seat into the door frame like it should when closing which pushes the latch side further out just enough to drag the door frame.
Just my experience and by the way when I hear the hinge start squeak a little I spray them again (4 to 6 Months).

WE had an issue with our 3160 back last year. Fortunately still in warranty and Keystone approved the whole door assembly being replaced. Said that the door jam was crooked and could not be adjusted.

difficult door

Just curious - can you identify a bright/fresh scratch or mark in the black aluminum door frame (jamb, head or sill) (or a mark on the black door-leaf frame) to show where the door is rubbing or striking? That is what I would look for and take a pic of to prove that something was out of kilter. If the door is expanding from heat and becoming difficult to open/close - have you noticed if it gets better with cool temps?

Our door is sometimes difficult to open due to the positive pressure exerted by the friction hinge. It gets to a point the where DW can't open the door latch/pull. It's even tough for me - but I figured out to press inward on the door leaf to counteract the hinge pressure and the latch opens easily. I shot it with some silicone and it helped a bunch.

3790RD 2017 - our door was difficult to close and was clearly rubbing against the frame at the top. Keystone approved the door and frame to be replaced. Its better now, although I still think the lock itself could work a little easier.
I would push your dealer to push Keystone to replace it.
Good luck.
