Montana models?

Somewhere in the past I could have sworn that I saw a poll for the MODEL of Montana that was owned. However, now I can't find it. I was just wondering if there had ever been a poll done on who owned which model, and which one was the most purchased unit? I'm going to guess the 3400, but that's only my guess!!!

I remember hearing or reading somewhere that the 3400 is the most popular model that Montana has. Part of getting old is not always remembering where or when, but at least I do remember (sometimes ).

There was an informal poll of MOC ownership that was started back in 2008? by BB_TX. Use the search function (most popular model) and I think you should find the results readily, that is where I think I remember reading that the 3400 is the most popular model. What a relief, memory loss is not as bad as I thought!!

Here is the informal poll. Was last updated over 2 yrs ago. Things have changed, but probably still gives a fairly good representation of models owned except for newer models.

And it looks like the 3400s have it...

Yes by far the 3400 was and maybe still is the most popular, of course that was 2 years ago. As previous 3400 model owners (2007) and having purchased again 6 months ago we did move on to another model as I think some other 3400 owners have. Would be interesting to know, given all the new models in the last 2 years, where the recently purchased trends seem to be heading.

We just ordered new 3400 and the Montana rep(located in Goshen with Keystone) said the 3400 is the most popular model. That's his statement as I have no idea!

I'm wondering too, as right now it appears that the 3750 is coming on strong. Perhaps if a new poll was started, it might show some interesting results. We're "kind" of looking at a 3665!

We traded a 3400 for the 3665RE, and was told by a Montana rep at an RV show in BC that more 3400 owners are trading for the 3750 than any other model.

My guess (and our reason) as to why a 3750FL is a good move for 3400RL previous owner's has a lot to do with the added capability of the stackable washer and dryer. We had been looking hard at the side aisle models, but did not want to move away from our Splendide stackable. The 3750FL is the first Montana model that has a separate bathroom as well as the washer/dryer closet for the stackables. It was exactly what we had been waiting for.

Our "Casa" is a 2006 2955RL. We have been told by 2 different dealers that the 2955 is/was the most sold of the Montana line. It appears that the 3400 is the most popular model with MOCers. It will be our next "Casa" in about 2 years!!!

Of the two polls I remember on this topic, the first most popular was the 3295RK. That was prior to the 3400RL. The second poll was after the 3400RL became available and that model, the 3400RL, was the most popular. I believe at the last rally factory tour we attended (2009) we were told the 3400RL was the biggest seller at that time.
