Motion Sensor Lights

The campground I am in is very dark at night. I will be there for a while and want to add some solar and motion sensing LED flood lights. I am thinking I want to attach them to the side of the RV but certainly do not want to drill. Any one have any ideas?

I initially wanted to use magnets but unfortunately my rig is not magnetic.

I have a 2018 Montana HC 375FL.

You could attach them with some heavy duty self adhesive Velcro, available at Lowe’s or Home Depot. That way you would be able to detach them for traveling.

Kevin,

Instead of motion activated, consider a couple of small solar driveway lights that you stick in the ground. Puts out less light but also less distracting to neighbors.

I replaced my porch light with the Starlight SL-1000 and my Scare lights with the Starlight SL-2000. Motion lights. Just remove you factory porch and scare lights, connect the wires to the new lights screw them in. I’ve had them on my RV for 5 years and they work great. Check Amazon.

I put a solar LED light on our rig and attached it with 3M automotive tape like you would use to attach trim on a car. Got about 10.000 miles on it now and it's still up there.

This is what I have. They work great and they also monitor you rv battery. If you boon dock and your battery volts fall below 11.5 V a red led on the fixture comes on.

Here's a review of the light assy. They now come with led bulbs..
