Awning crash

So last nigh a pop up thunderstorm hit quickly so I jump up to real in the awning. While I'm at the back door where the switch panel is unbenonst to me the wind blew the front door open because I hadn't shut it tightly in my haste to get to the awning switch. Long story short the door gets tangled in the awning arm and bends it up like a pretzel.

Now I'm guessing the supplier is Lippert though I suppose it could be a Dometic awning, I don't know which. Maybe someone here can help with that.

So my questions is does anyone know where I can get parts for this? I'll attach phots so you can see it's just the one arm brace that's bent. Second question is has anyone replaced parts in this area and when I detatch the roller will I get a surprise of some spring under tension or something?
