1 Year in.

Hey all,
It’s been a year since I bought my HC 345RL and with all the negatives we read on here I thought a positive was in order. In that year I have had it stored only about three months and, lived in it the rest of that time. It’s been moved from place to place in Kansas and also to Nebraska where it gets stored and, back to Kansas. Yes I’ve had a couple of minor problems and, have made a few preventative fixes. It’s been to the dealer once for a problem with the thermostat/ac/ heat pump. While there they fixed two of the roller shades. In and out in a week and a half. The maiden voyage was from the dealer to a campground about 30 miles away and, I had issues with the toilet. Dealer sent a mobile tech right out. He came back a couple of times and the last was when I brought him back to install the Dometic 320. I replaced the anti syphon valve as a preventative measure. I was nervous about making this purchase because all that I had heard and read about the problems people have had with their respective campers and manufacturers. My last was a TT that I bought new and, in 5 years had only one problem.
Overall for me this has been a great purchase and, I’m looking forward to many more years with Montana.

Congratulations on the purchase of a Montana. It is refreshing to hear of some positive experiences and I am sure there are many more of them that are never shared. Personally, we have owned 2 Montana's in the past 8 years and both of them have been virtually trouble free.

Great report. We love our '14 HC 343RL which is the predecessor to your 345RL. Ours, too is not without some problems but so far nothing that can't be fixed by me.

One of the few problems with this forum is that it's a place to get help so we usually only hear about problems and solutions and not the thousands of happy owners. Thanks for the positive post.

We bought our HC 310RE in October 2017 from Camping World Birmingham Alabama. We put 19,000 miles on to date. Been from San Diego to Quebec Canada & lots of other places. Have we had problems? Absolutely. But Keystone stepped up to the plate every time. Would we buy another Montana. You bet! The key is knowing how to wrench on things
