What Do You Store Under the Bed??

So far, we don't have anything under there. But just give me a little more time, I'm sure I'll find something to put there. I want to get some of those space bags for the extra blankets, sweaters, etc... They would work very well. Does Wal-Mart carry those? We're almost done with our De-Junking at the "brick" house, so I'm trying very hard to not put anything in the Monty that we don't absolutely have to have. 315RLS - we're not taking anymore wine in the Monty - don't ask. LOL

We store pretty much the same as everyone else has mentioned and any dead bodies we come across along the way.

We use our underbed storage for our fly fishing poles and fly boxes. They fit just perfect there. In our old McKenzie T.T. we could fit our big tackle boxes also. Not enough room in the Monty under bed storage. We use the end closet for the tackle boxes now. Lots of room!

I store some pillows and a comforter (for overnight guest) and that's about it.

On my model (see sig) its the only wide opening storage compartment, so we keep out chairs and alot of our outside gear stored under the bed.

You could use those plastic bins that are for underbed storage. They make them pretty shallow for that. (Wal-Mart or Big Lots)

We have a Brinks safe under the bed, my chaise (new), and extra paper towels, and an extra comforter for hide a bed! I am sure I Could fit more under, but I am trying to cut back on extra weight and stuff !!!!!

50 AMP electric cord, we only use that once a year, when in the Valley and set up for 3 months, otherwise, we use a 30. Carry it out when we get to the Valley and back in 3 months later. It winds around the OUTSIDE of that storage area and really takes up no room. Small portable ironing board, clothes drying rack for when it is cold and damp and I cannot hang the clothes outside to dry, phone book for the Valley, some yard junk(tuplips and cutsie stuff), the sun awning (we call it Texas sun screen, those of you who frequent Florida call it the Florida sun screen), and I can carry a case or more of dog food (cans). Give or take that is it.

The plastic underbed storage tub are too high. I've already tried that. They are 6-7 inches and there is only 4 1/2 inches clearance under the bed.

I wonder if different models have deeper storage under the bed. Ours is shallow like Sue's. We took the floor up yesterday and there are several spots that would allow deep storage there, but it would require a hinge in the middle of the floor board to make it accessible.

I took a good look at the under bed storage in our 3400 and there is not much there as Sue said about 4 1/2 inches.Spare blankets/linens and not much of that. The "lock box" is a joke. Have a better one here that we paid 29.95 for at Wally Mart we will remove it and we do have another use for it. I would rather stick the family jewels, if we had any, in one of those hiddey holes.
