Blue coiled hose???
In my 2006 3475RL, a blue coiled hose with a special connector on one end and a threaded male connector on the other end was provided. I am assuming it fits the outside shower connector with the special connector. Does a "standard" hand held shower fitting go on the other end??? Looks to me like the threads are too course.

The outside shower should have all the fixtures in it. Could the blue coiled hose be a part of your winterizing system? Did you ask your dealer or the tech that did your walk thru?

We have the same unit as you and did not receive any hose resembling your description. Your outdoor shower should be in a little locked compartment with a white hose and shower head already insttalled. You should also have knobs for hot and cold water. We did get a white hose to connect to the fresh water hook up at campsites, and a short sewer hose (which we replaced with a better sewer hose). Maybe someone else can identify this mysterious blue hose??? Will be watching for others to answer.

Sounds like someone left an air compressor hose in your unit. What diameter is the hose? Will it stretch about 15'or 20'?
Dose it look somthing like this?

I will contact the dealer this weekend. I don't think I got the outside shower accessories. Yes, my outside shower is in a compartment that is accessed by opening the drivers side basement. I got the white fresh water hose and sewer pipe. It could be a winterizing hose.

My 2006 3500 RL also came with a blue coiled hose. The quick connect end of this hose fits the shower faucets. The dealer told that this is the shower and gave me a hose nozzle to go on the end of the hose. Does not seem correct.

I think that blue hose is for the black tank flushing system. Although I haven't tried it yet, my 2006 3650RK had one included.

Dave(dsprik) and I did notice that blue hose at the RV show, We stared at it for awhile attempting to figure out what in the world it was for. We did open the outside shower door and guess what..no shower attachments but the blue hose did fit although it made no sense. We wondered why have a outside shower if there are is no "shower" The factory rep gave us a blank stare but the Dealer said not to worry your unit WILl have a shower head and proper hose..So..we still do not know what the "blue hose" is for

We had the blue hose included on our '06 2955RL. The dealer told us that it takes the place of the outdoor shower head, and is designed to be more useful than a fixed head. Didn't make sense to us,because there was no shower fitting included, but that's what he said. I suppose if you wanted to hose off the kids after a day at the beach it would have some utility, but I plan to use the blue hose for flushing the black tank. Looks like the quick connect fittings are easily removed.

Well I too have the "mystery" hose on our new 3400RL. So after reading the previous post I called my dealer's service manager and his response was that it was a pressure hose for washing off the side of the coach. Go figure..... I have the quick disconnect fitting that fastens to the hot and cold water valves. But I put a regular hose nozzle on the end and see a use for washing stuff off outside instead of taking it in to the sink if your were dry camping.
Maybe someone should call Keystone and get the "official" description and use of the "Blue Coiled Hose". Scary isn't it. What lurks behind your blue coiled hose?

OK, everyone--I had the same thoughts--quick connect fits the outside shower and it looked like a garden sprayer would fit the other end. I don't call that a "shower head". I am glad that I am not alone in this mystery!

I can't believe this is for the outside shower. If you wanted to use the shower, you would have to go find the blue hose. In ours, the hose and shower head are rolled up inside the little compartment for the outside shower - has been that way on all three of our 5ers.

I saw this hose awhile back. It was connected in the basement with all the water connections and dump valves. It seems to me this would be used for washing off your hands or tools after working outside the rv. The coach I was looking at also had the outside shower, it had its own hose and shower head. Hmmm, what could the blue hose really be???

Meanwhile the 3400 at the Toledo RV show had the outside shower but NO hose or shower head which seemed kind of a dumb thing.I will look and see what our new 3400 will have????

On our recent factory tour, the guide showed us the blue coiled hose. It is supposed to work as an outdoor shower, also for adding antifreeze for winterizing. This is a new inovation with the integrated service panel. Most of us don't have this hose unless we have a very new unit. Wish I had paid more attention but since we didn't have it, I took only casual interst in it.

OK - here's the deal. We bought a 2006 3295RK in January. The Montana model year runs from July to July, and for 2006 they made changes in December of 2005. These changes included the Mor/Ryde axles, the stepped nose cap that allows a 90 degree turn with a short-bed pickup, and a water service center. From the service center you can flush the black tank, hookup to city water, fill the water tank, connect a hose to an antifreeze bottle and suck it directly into the pipes, and a shower quick-disconnect. The disconnect is where the blue coiled hose goes with a garden-variety spray nozzle on the end - it's threaded for hoses. Secondly, you connect the threaded end of the blue hose into the winterizing connection, submerge the quick-disconnect end in a jug of antifreeze, and start your pump to fill the pipes. You also bypass the water heater from here and they even have a battery disconnect built in. Very handy over all.
