Door keys

Well, I lost one of the door keys. Now momma whon't let me borrow hers. I have tried keymakes, locksmiths, even an RV dealer who makes RV keys. No one has the right blanks. Any suggestions?

Call the lock maker and tell them the key number on your remaining key. They will send you new keys already cut. That is what I did. Cannot recall the lock maker right now. About a buck and a half each.

Call this number 1-800-837-2505 and ask for the lock divison. You will need the number that is stamped on your key.Its up near the plastic part.I got 3 extra keys and with shipping I think the price was under 20 bucks. And they were delivered in less then a week.

Take apart the lock, phone number and key code are inside the lock. Very nice people to deal with. The code inside is NOT a model number, it is the key code! (We learned this the hard way)

I got blanks from Naylor RV in Kansas City and had to take them to a hardware store that had an old fashioned style key cutter to get them cut. Works fine though.

Mrs. Countryguy's method worked for me. I lost all keys to our 2003 3295RK on delivery day. Took apart the lock (four screws on the inside) and there was the 800 number and the key number. I had two keys in a few days for five bucks. This may have all changed by now but hopefully it's still the same.

Steve,

Not changed, unless it just did in the last month, give or take a few days. We broke that door lock in Hope Arkansas about 1 month ago.
