I don't have specifications on lifting capacity but I'd be inclined to agree that a 6-point system could handle more weight that a 4-point system. In my case, given that it was a retrofit, Lippert stated that as long as the hydraulic jacks were not more than 20 feet apart on one side, the 4-point would work. The 6-point was not an option for me because the stairs and sewer connection were in the way of the two jacks that normally go in front of the front axle. Regarding counterproductive, even though both the OEM and the aftermarket systems are both made by Lippert, I suspect that rigs designed from the ground up for hydraulic leveling work better than the retrofit systems and may not have problem with stroke limits on jacks. In spite of the limitations I have experienced, I am still pleased with the retrofit and I accept its limitations. My original landing gear and stabilizer jacks needed to be replaced and even doing the work myself, the parts would have cost nearly half of what the self-leveling system cost. And, the hydraulic system is much faster even if you have to employ the manual mode.

Unfortunately, I don't but I learned about it when I contacted the Lippert Components Service department in Goshen. May I suggest that you contact Brandi Niles or Joshua Northam at 574-537-8900. They were a great help to me and the Lippert Service department is a class act.
