Sickness

Thought I would fiil some folks in on my present situation. I have been in ICU in a comna beginning 3 - 3 12. Had to be intubated and had the tube removed two weeks later. Pulmonoligist said worst pneumonia he had ever seen. closed my entire right lung. Am presently in a rehab hospital in Scottsdale. Its called Select specialty hospital. The address is 7400 E Osborn Rd, 3 West, Scottsdale AZ 85251. Unfortunately It has Mucked my right vocal cord so I can't peak very loudly. After being in a coma for two weeks, I am too weak to walk, although I seem to be getting better each
day. Will have to have surgery on one vocal cord becasue if it doesn't close, food and liquid can enter the right lung causing more problems with pneumonia. They are currently feeding me thru a tube in my stomach. HurraH...If you are in the area, stop in and see me. Cards and letters would be nice. Btw. Our Montana and Truck is forever gone to a fine Canadian Couple. Cathy handled the entire transfer and I am really proud of her. She comes up on Monday Wed, Friday and Sunday and sumetimes brings the grandkids, that puts a smile on my face.

What a terrible time you've had! We're so glad you're recovering now, even though it sounds as though this will be a long recovery. We'll remember you in our prayers.
