Generators
As first time RV'ers, we have alot to learn and would appreciate any comments or advice we can get. A major concern of ours is concerning the fuel for a generator. Does anyone have any experience with a generator in a Montana fifth wheel. We have recently ordered a Montana 3400RL with retrofitted for a generator and our dealer will install the Onan generator when the RV is delievered. Which type of fuel to select to run the generator is our concern. We have several weeks yet before we have to make this decision, therefore we would certainly appreciate any and all advise. Also, looking at the spec's in the brochure for our unit - the 3400RL, it states that this unit is 37 ft 1" in length. You would think that the 3400 number would indicate the length. Not so according to the spec sheet. Is this the length that the RV parks are asking for when making reservations or is it the length of the truck and the fifth wheel? Again, all comments are apprecated.
