Here for 3.5 months. Nice park with a nice pool and water park across the street. Did I mention it is hotter than heck. Not unbearable but hotter than i'm used to.

I have a friend that lives in Redding, and he says it gets to 116 degrees, BUT THE HUMIDITY IS LOW!!!!

We drove thru Redding on a Harley on the way to the coast one year. It was so hot the tar they used on the roads to patch the cracks liquified. I wound up with heat prostration and had to check into a motel to take a cold shower to lower my core temperature. THAT was a HOT day!!!

Here in Arizona we call that "a dry heat".
