3930fb

well we picked up our 3930fb on aug 29 and have been a few places with it, so far we love it. now that i have it i am going to go to the factory again to see a few things about it. one thing we are not happy with is the faucet in the front bath it is set so far back from the edge the water will go on the counter top if you are not careful. anyone out there have a 3930fb with the same problem. i will ask about it next week to see what they say about it. also got the satellite to work on the front tv but cannot get it to work in the bedroom. the receiver is in the front but not sure if i will be able to get satellite on the bedroom.anyone know how i can do this? i am sure i will have other questions but thats it for now thanks

There has been lots of discussion about satellite TV and the new rigs. Do you have the Key TV system and what satellite system (brand, receiver, antenna) do you have? The answers will affect what you can do.

Bathroom faucet

I think the faucets are a bit too short for all models. I will replace the fixtures with a larger gooseneck fixture one of these days.

We have a 3920fb so have the same half bath. I bought a chrome swivel spout end that replaces the original. Just screw off the original one and screw on the swivel. Adjust swivel to maximum angle and water shoots out farther into the sink.

I have a 3921FB and disliked the faucets in both bathrooms. I replaced all 3 of mine with these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The half-bath in ours was frustrating too. I did the same as "martyperu" a swivel attachment at the end of the faucet for a temporary fix.

thanks, i have the key tv, dish network with 211k receiver and a portable satellite. right now i have the 211k in the living room with the satellite cable hooked up to the dish receiver and a hdmi cable to the front tv. tv in bedroom gets ota channels , a coax cable from the jack that has 2 ports, 1 cable and 1 says satellite. tried both ports and can get the ota channels but no satellite.

thx for all the replies about the faucet in the front bath, i will either get the swivel adapter or replace faucet. makes no sense that they could not install it closer to the sink opening, there is lots of room under that they could have bored the holes closer. thanks eveyone

With Dish, a 211, and a portable sat you are only going to get sat TV at one location. The Files section here has several KeyTV manuals. This one talks about using Dish.

thx. I looked at the schematic
in my motorhome I just traded in I had satellite at 3 different locations liv bedroom and outside tv. with the same equipment I have now. sat came into the front tv, where the 211 was and then went out from there to the bedroom and outside tv. there must be a splitter somewhere that I can get to. my motorhome had all the cables up front that the satellite fed then went to the other tvs. have to do a little searching to find out where all the coax starts. thanks for the info

I bought a goose neck faucet for the half bath. Works better but one that sticks out farther would be best, could not find one.

Lowe's on sale. Added 1/4 turn shutoff to both lines.

You need a receiver for each TV so, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Same configurations.

With two receivers and one antenna you will only get the signal from one satellite. To have all three satellites on two receivers you will require two antennas or a very expensive single antenna.

I am purchasing a 2020 3930FB in a couple days. I would appreciate any kind of feedback on how you have enjoyed it since your last post.

We have a 3920FB which is identical except has tub instead if closet. This is our third summer living in it. There is no question you give up some living space for bathroom space but we find the 1/2 bath snd large front bath very convenient and comfortable.
This is our 4th Montana and as in ever trailer before, I make modifications to better suit our needs. Here is some I did to the 3920FB
Swivel heads on bathroom sink faucets so water enters farther into sink.
Enclosed undercarrage with sheet metal for rodent proofing plus steel wool in places
Built shelf in front compartment
Added shoe shelve in passenger side basement storage
Added shelves in most closets.
Added two small end tables for front room
Added shower curtain so water doesn't lay in tracks
Made stove top cover for more counter space
Added motion detector led light string for top of door jam in 1/2 bath as light swtich is not beside door.
Put stop on front bathroom door so doesnt open to far.
Other notes are Labeled Tank pulls and Black Tank plumbing as in my mind set up wrong from factory.
Replaced screws on fenders as factory ones work loose while travelling.
I am sure you will really enjoy your trailer. Doing a few personal effects will make it even more enjoyable. All the best.
