26 hrs since my last post and diesel is now $3.40 to $3.70. Traveling to Don West Flea Market in the morning in Donna, TX so hopefully will find a station that hasn't jacked up price yet. At this rate won't be able to afford to go home in WI let alone take a trip to the Northwest in August.

With the price of fuel so high the oil we use in our cars and trucks will soon follow that trend, I'm going to my nearest discount store and stock up on motor oil! See you there?

Ocala, Fl area is showing 3.65.9-3.89.9

You have to watch those Ocala and Gainesville area prices, especially on the weekends. We were camped up at Payne's Prairie SP a couple of weeks ago. On Friday the diesel price was 3.49. On Sunday it was 3.75, and that was reflected in Ocala as well. Thankfully I did not need any until we reached Tampa an hour later...price 3.49. Ocala was back to the lower price on Monday!

Here in the Dallas Suburbs Diesel was 3.499 on Thursday. On Friday when I filled the Ford it was 3.699. $.20 overnight!
Already have 1 friend scaling back their summer trip due to fear of fuel prices.

Yesterday afternoon at one station in Kingman AZ, diesel was $4.11. We were on a bus tour and I just caught the price but not the name of the place.

Well gas jumped another 26¢ yesterday, When's it going to stop?
On Edit: the gas price dropped today by 6¢ and I noticed the diesel is now at $3.89/gal. They seem to jack the price up and then drop it about a nickel; I wonder if they think it'll make us feel better about it?

Maine has hit $4.03 a gallon for diesel. I am concerned about the price of fuel but I'm also very concerned when you hear on the news, talk about a fuel shortage too.

I think we all know the answer to that question...
Fuel dropped briefly in Calgary but has climbed again at many stations to $1.109 per liter or $4.20 a US gallon.
I'm actually glad now I filled up the truck and new Transfer Flow tank at $1.059 per liter or $4.00 per US gallon. Still cost me $225.00 though.

History is about to repeat itself regarding fuel prices or shortages with one exception. There will be a shortage of $3 diesel but none of >$4.50 diesel. I well remember the days of the Peanut Farmer.

Google around. There is plenty of oil in the pipe line. Lybia provides less that 2% of our oil export. Speculation is driving the price of oil up and it will not be able to maintain it for long. There has got to be a sell off soon.
