Heat Strip in the AC
Our second AC unit is a Duo-Therm with an "Optional Heat" position in the controls, but does not appear to have the heat strip installed. Anyone (1) have a similar situation and knows something I don't (like I merely need to do something simple to activate it), or (2) added that heat strip to their unit, and can tell me about the best place to buy it, the approx cost, and how you actually go about adding it to the unit?
I know I could go find a dealer somewhere and hopefully get my answers, but hey, that what this place is for, right? Aiding and abetting laziness, right? Thanks .
