Great idea, especially if they are in the LR slide. Our two wall hugger La-Z-Boys, unfortunately, are in the rear and need to be shoved all the way to the wall, strapped down with the backs removed for slide retraction and travel.

Ya when we first picked the style, they told us it was available in a wall hugger, but we got to the point of ordering, it wasn't available.

Has anyone successfully bought wall huggers that will fit in LR slide without any modification? The theater seating that came with my 2015 3160 is showing spots where the fake leather is flaking.

When we first visited the Lazy Boy showroom they said it came in a wall hugger. But when we went to actually buy it they said it wasn't available for that model.. The modifications was easy to do and keeps the chairs for moving up and down the slide when we're traveling.

Lambright makes theater seating that will fit in the slide. I have an 3402rl and the theater seating fits perfectly without tying down.

The La-Z-Boy wall huggers will fit the slide but may not fit in the rear without pulling the backs off while traveling - which is really no big deal either as it is a couple minute job to reinstall them (10 seconds pulling them off )

Thanks Texan, I’ll look that up. I would prefer finding two recliners that would fit , I don’t like the theater seating.

Thank you everyone for the information. I am wondering if anyone has been able to make this type of situation (either theater or 2 recliners) work for a raised slide? Some 5th wheels have the couches on the slides in an upfront LR and the slide itself is raised. I thought it was only Montanas that did this (we have a 3750FL), but Sand Piper does too -- see this You Tube video at the 7 minute 29 second mark. ON the lower left-hand side of the couch, you can see the raised slide, which is carpeted, behind the front of the couch, which is extra long to reach the floor. Our slide allows 30.5" of slide. Just wondering if anyone has encountered this situation. THe couches stink, but my chiropractor likes them.
