2019 3120rl

Hello,

Just traded our 2012 Wildcat on a 2019 Montana 3120RL.
I have been following the forums ever since we started looking and we are looking forward to next spring when we can take her out for the trial run.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum.

One word of advice. Since your first trip will not be until spring try to go out and exercise everything as much is possible over the next 90 days. Things needing adjustments such as doors are only covered for the first 90 days.

Welcome to the forum from Arizona. Congrats on the new rig. Like said try to take it out ASAP so that if you find any problems they can be addressed during the winter down time.

Welcome.
Last year we also traded our 2012 Wildcat Sterling in for a Montana. Best decision I ever made. Should have done it in 2012...

Welcome to the Montana forum. Looks like you are in for some winter camping or you could just go down to Arizona.

Congrats on the3120RL. We have the 2018 3120RL and love it. Couple of things:
- Yes, there is a drain handle for the galley sinks. Lots of talk on this board about the tough location, but it is way up there next to the middle level jack. Best viewed when the side is extended.
- Exercise the bedroom slide out. ours is a 50-50 crap shoot. It gets out of synch and will extend out if I apply some pressure on the side of the bed that hangs up while the wife keeps the button pressed.
- Practice lighting the oven before you really want/need to use it. Pilot light is a stubborn bugger to stay lit.
- You'll love the self-levelling feature.

We love the layout of the 3120. And is it ever easy to winterize.

We have the same model, and love it so far. We picked ours up in June, and have been in it almost constantly since then. Pulls really well but is on the heavy side for a 35' trailer. So far, we haven't had any trouble with our bedroom slide, but I know other people have. Once you start extending or retracting don't stop until it is all the way in or out and continue depressing the button for 5 seconds. Check the gas line connection on the kitchen slide. The dealer had to rotate the ell 90 degrees to keep it from pulling on the fitting. Someone else on here had the same problem.

Well, actually, ours is a 3121. Same trailer except for refrigerator.

Welcome aboard and we hope you enjoy that new Monte. Remember if you have questions-- ask them and remember there is no such thing as a dumb question. Jump on in there when you can help someone that asks a question too. Think about attending some of the upcoming Rallies, both Regional and National, this upcoming year. They are a great way to meet fellow Montana owners and also learn from what they have done and have to say also. The Fall Rally this next year is September 11th-19th in Goshen, IN the birthplace of your Montana. Again welcome aboard!

I just got the same model 2019 20th Anniversary with the solar package and 2000 watt inverter that Keystone forgot to plug the transfer swatch in after they did their electrical test at the factory, well that's not the real problem...
I tried the refrigerator for the 1st time and after being on all night 75 degrees not cooling tried it on LP and the flame spits and sputters bat only tried the LP for a short time. I will try the LP overnight maybe just has air in the line. When on AC i have no fault light blinking.
