Well I wish I could look out my mountain view windows but the sun comes in them so bad that I have them covered with a foil bubble wrap stuff to keep out the heat.. it is still getting over 105 here in Amargosa Valley..LOL What we are going to do is go up to the long street casino and see if we won a PT crewser. OOPS there you go I mispelled that one..LOL or two. Any way I too wish everyone a happy holiday and above all be safe....

We will be going to Duluth, MN and back up to the shores of Lake Superior. It is an awesome view and so many things to do there. I hope we have time to just sit back and enjoy the lake.

We will be staying home because we don't have our hitch on the new truck yet. I try to spend this weekend with my mother as it has been a family tradition for many years. We usually celebrate my birthday on this weekend and when my sister was alive, hers also. Her birthday is the day after mine. She died on Sept. 4 (3 days after her 40th BD) so my brother in law and my parents and kids always spent this weekend together. My brother in law is not well and my Dad is no longer alive, so my Mother really needs me.
Hope everyone enjoys a great weekend in their Monty's.
Happy trails......................

We will be right here at Red Rock RV Park, Island Park, ID, near Yellowstone National Park. We'll probably not go into the NP because it likely will be a heavy tourist day. We prefer to leave weekends and holidays to others and make our own forays into the park during less-busy times. Our model has two smaller windows in the rear rather than the large picture window but here's what you can see from just outside those windows:

I will be spending the weekend down at the lake where my coach has spent most of its summer. The sad part is, with the holiday coming fast that means I only have 4 more weeks there and then it will be time to bring the coach home for winter. OH! WINTER! I am not ready for that just yet.

I hear you Montana Sky I am in no way ready for Winter either! We will be at Camlara Park and our veiw will be open grass area. The water will face our door (I suppose I can get a veiw of the lake w/ the little side window!!) We will be having a big family get together (some in tents, motorhome and travel trailer) along w/ a couple of birthday parties.

We, and the Montana, will be staying close to home. We leave the long weekends, and weekends in general, to those who are still working and can only get away then. The great part about being retired and living where we do is that we can enjoy the campgrounds and fishing/boating during the week and leave the weekends for others. Safe travels.

We will be spending time at our favorite spot for this area. We will be at Three Island State Park in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. We will be with family and friends staying in our Montana, others will have their trailer and tents. Steve and Vickie and others in the area stop by and say Hello. Steve it is only 5 1/2 hour drive if you would like to stop by. Steve, were are you headed after leaving Island Park area, chance you will be coming through the Twin Falls area? If so let me know.

Montanasky, I see in the second post here that prariepoodle was saying they had a problem with the sun coming through their window and heating things up too much. You mentioned an back awning in another thread. I'm wondering if that is something that would help.

Also, I will be sitting at my house this weekend watching over our four day garage sale. We are getting rid of everything we can and movng into a small (read "cheap") rental so that we will have most of our bills paid off by next spring when we get our 3400RL and go FT. Right now I am using up all 57 sick days, then going on Workmen's Comp for maybe a month while waiting for my SSA and Michigan Teacher disability retirements to kick in.

Everyone drive safe... it wil be Cheryl's and my last labor day sitting at home.

In every direction we will have a view of my husbands relatives. Front, Back and each side. It's a Family traditon to all camp together on this final holiday of the summer. We'll be in Northern IN.

Dave,
I am having my dealership custom order/make the awning for the back window. The rear and side window awnings are going to be my xmas gift to myself. And this spring my bday gifts are my second a/c and washer/dryer. Oh how I can hardly wait for spring! =)

Out our back window the view will be trees. From the picnic table the view will be out over several ponds to the Catskills in the distance. Unless it rains and then the view will not exist as we will be up in the rain clouds.

Our view will be some portion of the family farm in Wayne Co Ohio... Spending the weekend (and a few more days) with Kevin's sister.. Right now we have pulled in to the Safari RV park on the south end of Chanute Ks... (Not far from the Noo Whah Manufacturer) you can stay three nights free.. the sites are relatively level... and I am hooked into the open wireless from the Motel across the street!!.. tomorrow AM I will get to meet my new grand daughter... and then visit mom and family... (and show them this cardboard box we moved into... Hee)

Looking out our Montana windows this Labor Day weekend will give us a view of the Montana owned by ToolmanRoy/MOC-1745, and if we walk over and look out the windows on the other side....we'll be seeing the Montana owned by Kathi/MOC3113.

We are all meeting up at the GoldRanch RV Park just west of Reno off of I-80 for Reno's "Best-in-the-West BBQ Rib Cook-Off" and are planning on having a *great* time!! Come join us if anyone is in the area...

Have a fun & safe weekend.

Well it all depends on Kantria, we are suppose to go to the Tenn mountains but if it rains like they call for that area may be flooded. So we will have to wait and see what Kantria does before we finalize where we are going.
