Fan help

Ok at a loss on this one. 2011 Montana mountaineer . I have a fantastic fan (create a breeze) that isn’t working. Figured change out Dan and motor. Did that and didn’t work.
Went back on the roof and made sure that sling ground didn’t have any corrosion. It’s good. And yes I checked the fuse.
Ok so I broke out my meter. Looks like the potentiometer on the switch isn’t putting out juice. But the rocker switch raises and lowers the cover just fine.

So now I am trying to find a controller. I find lots of controller and remotes but not the one I have. The fan an housing are fine I just need a controller.

Is there an upgrade I can do? Don’t want to remove the whole fan housing and figure if I can just put a different controller in it seems pretty simple.
I don’t need a remote this is in the second bathroom.

Call Fantastic Vent direct. They have been great to work with in the past.

Fan-tastic Vent is now owned by Dometic. Try this page to figure out which fan you have so you can see if the part is available. https://www.edometic.com/allusr/sp.nsf/spcftv?ReadForm

Thanks I submitted a help form and hope to hear from them. I was a bit confused cause some places say atwell bought fantastic and some say dometic and I really didn’t know

Just thought about it and gonna full one of the other controllers and swap it just to make sure it is in fact the switch but I am pretty sure cause I was getting a little power in and nothing out

New update

Ok so I had the bright idea to try one of the other controllers (it has 3 all the same) and luckily the plug just barely reaches from the back bathroom to the bunk room without disconnecting the power wires.

Interestingly the bunk room controller that works fine in there does the exact same thing. The rocker switch lifts the lid but the fan does not come on.

Ss I am thinking I need to concentrate on that spring ground. I am sure it is there to take ground away from the fan when the lid is down, that makes sense. I didn’t see any corrosion and I did spray it with contact cleaner anyway.

There were no signs at all of mice so don’t thing it would be wiring so it all leads me back to that spring switch.

They said the fan worked when they were living in it but I take that with a grain of salt lol.

Y’all have a lot more experience with these things so do you have anything you think I am not thinking of?
