The 2010 F-450's come with the 4.30 gears, where the 2008's came with 4.88's. These trucks are Heavy Duty with a GVWR of 14,500, and a 24,500 5th wheel towing capacity. I would get the VIN and go to a ford dealer service writer and have them run an OASIS report for you. That will tell you all of the warrenty work performed.... if any.. and will let you know if your looking at a problem child. The main problem these trucks have/had are the Radiators and EGR valves sticking.
The 2010's are pre 6 speed transmission so you will have the 5 speed instead. The engine that year has a 6.4L 350hp/650 lbs of torque where the 2011 6.7L is 400/800.
The 2010's also have the 19.5 inch rims with IMHO better tires, as they are not LT tires. Even though I dont really like the continental tires that comes with on it, they have a much better load rating.

I wish I would have done just a little bit more research on them before getting my 2011 f-350, because I more than likely would have ended up with an 2010 F-450.. Probably tuned to remove all of the emissions crap and up the hp and torque.... but thats a whole nuther discussion.
One problem you may run into is insurance, they will want to write you a commercial policy because of the gvwr rating. Call Lazydays and ask for their insurance department. The rate will not be anymore than a regular ol' dually.
Good luck. Youll love the turning radius! Keep us posted!
