CD/DVD drawer won't stay closed

I have tried everything but putting a screw through the drawer to keep it from sliding open during travel! Considering we don't travel with any CD's or DVD's this is a slider that really doesn't ever need to open. Some day someone else may want that functionality so probably not the greatest idea to screw it shut.

I have not replaced the catch but have tried to adjust it many times. It feels snug but after traveling it is always open.

Suggestions would be great.

Bump.

Has anyone else had this issue with the dvd drawer? It is quite a big and heavy drawer and I fear damage to the drawer and anything around it when it one day flies out hard enough that it tears all the way out of the track.

Hook and eye type closure??? on the outside, from the drawer TO the wall or flat surface.

just a thought.

We too had the same problem. Had it fixed last year when we went to the Fall Rally.
Keystone said the cause was the:

Guide broken on one, catch broken on other. Correction, replaced both.

I have not had a problem since they replaced it. Hope this helps.

get a good quality latch. The OEM ones are "cost effective"Had to freplace all of them on the PC desk drawers on the 06 3400.

Have you tried to spread the prong to increase the pressure on the rollers, that's assuming the rollers are ok. You could always add a second catch
