MOC Member Sue needs prayer

Hi everyone,

I am not sure where this should be posted but...

I am requesting prayer for my Sister Sue's (MOC Member) husband. He has stage 4 esophagus and liver cancer. He's been fighting valiantly for over a year but it's really bad now. He's in a ton of pain and just plain worn out, so weak. We all love him very much.

So, please pray for them and their daughter who is only 19. This has been very hard on all of them.

She'll probably kill me for doing this but I want to send them all the prayers possible. MOC is a huge family and that makes for a large number of prayers.

God bless and thank you,
Patty

Thoughts and prayers are going up from us. Our God is an awesome God! Tell Sue to allow God to reach out and put his arms around her for comforting at this difficult time. Cancer is a terrible diease that has touched many of our family members. Our prayers are that your brother-in-law will find relief from the pain and the entire family will find the strength they need.

I will add my prayers for your Sister's Husband. Years ago my Mother in Law who has since passed on gave me a plaque with this poem on it and it has always been my favorite description of God.

As the Sea is all of the Wave,
And the Wave is part of the Sea
So I am part of God,
And God is all of me.

Patty, I know this must be very hard for all of you. My prayers go out to your whole family. I will lift up Sue's husband to be in the hands of God so that he may have full control of everything that he does best. Sometimes we don't understand the reasons but God does, and he will be there. Accept God as our saviour and that is all we need in our lifes. Give Sue and her family my blessing.
